Bristol Parent Carer Forum is offering three informative sessions in March and April 2026 to support parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
The first session, “Advocating for Your Child in School” with Lisa Baker Murray, takes place on Thursday 5th March at 7pm online. This session will help parents and carers develop effective strategies for working with schools to ensure their children receive appropriate support.

On Monday 9th March at 10am, Bristol Parent Carers will be joined by Watkins Solicitors for an online session called “Understanding the Health Section of an EHCP: What Families Need to Know”. This session will help families understand this important part of Education, Health and Care Plans.

The third session, “Understanding Your Child: Neurodiversity without a Diagnosis” with Paul Ford, takes place on Wednesday 1st April at 10am at St Werburghs Community Centre. This session will support parents and carers in understanding their children’s needs and neurodiversity even when a formal diagnosis is not in place.
