30 hours entitlement

The School offers 30 hours per week for 38 weeks per year free education and care to families who meet the government guidelines.  Please download the 30 hours brochure for further information.  The Nursery School will also be able to offer additional hours to families who may not meet these criteria.  We will be happy to discuss individual circumstances with you on application.

Online Childcare Calculator –  parents can work out how much they can claim and sign up to an alert email from HMRC when the online checking service for 30 Hours and Tax Free Childcare goes live.

Health and absence

It can be tricky deciding whether or not to keep your child off school/nursery when they’re unwell. Please inform the School if your child is going to be absent. The NHS has put together useful guidance for parents Is my child too ill for school? Please inform the School if your child is going to be absent.

Public Health England have published a leaflet which explains measles, mumps and rubella and the importance of the MMR vaccination.  The leaflet can be downloaded here.
