With the lovely warm weather we’ve been enjoying, our children at St Philip’s Marsh Nursery School have been having a fantastic time staying cool with water play activities!
From all our nursery rooms, the children have been exploring and splashing with water in so many creative ways. We’ve had rainbow water play under our colourful arches, children enjoying water tables with watering cans and containers, and plenty of hands-on fun with buckets and scoops.
The children have been developing their fine motor skills while pouring and transferring water, exploring cause and effect, and most importantly – having lots of giggles while staying refreshingly cool! It’s been wonderful to see their joy and curiosity as they discover the properties of water through play.
Water play is such a valuable learning experience that combines sensory exploration, mathematical concepts, and pure summer fun – perfect for these warm days!
