Recently we celebrated Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. We made and decorated clay and playdough divas, painted firework pictures, watched information videos, explored artefacts and clothes and decorated our hands with henna. We also created Rangoli patterns using chalk, pens and buttons/jewels, decorated handprints, looked at books, read the story of Rama and Sita, made coconut barfi and tasted traditional food.
