We recently celebrated the Islamic festival of Eid. We made barfi, baked and decorated biscuits, explored artefacts, looked at books, watched a video clip of a family celebrating Eid, printed stars and moons, looked at henna patterns and had henna painted on our hands. We also held parties with traditional food, music and dancing.
