Fir Class has been having a wonderful time exploring colour and light, with fireworks as their inspiration. Children have been experimenting with bold, bright painting on a large scale, discovering how vivid colours really pop against black paper — just like fireworks lighting up a night sky.
Mark-making, stamping and printing have given children the chance to make their own creative choices and explore cause and effect, while the light table has added a magical, glowing dimension to the experience. Across all of these activities, children have been naturally developing their fine motor skills, curiosity and early Expressive Arts and Design skills.
