Parents strongly urged to submit statement

The application for the proposed installation of diesel generators in St Philip’s Marsh is scheduled to be considered by the Development Control Committee B at 2.00 pm on Wednesday 28 September at the City Hall, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR.

There has been unprecedented opposition to the proposal to install 48 diesel generators in an area of already poor air quality, in the middle of the ‘Green Capital City’, 200 metres from our Nursery School, adjacent to a large retail centre and opposite a new housing development.

Anyone who registered an objection should be contacted by the Planning Committee by email in due course.  You are then permitted to send a statement.  We strongly urge you to submit a statement and, if possible, attend the Committee meeting to voice your objections.

Further information on making a statement is contained in the leaflet titled “Having your say at Bristol City Council’s Development Control Committees”.  Please note that the statement should be sent to the Democratic Services Team by 12 noon on the day before the committee meeting and not the case officer.
