Elle Dimond, a freelance animator and film maker, will be working with the children over the winter term. As well as working on her own work she delivers film making workshops to young people. She is currently working on behalf of Suited and Booted Studios who have worked with St Philip’s Marsh delivering media workshops for several years.
Elle will be working with the children to create short animations which depict their favourite nursery rhymes. The children will make characters, backgrounds and then use an animation programme to make them come to life. They are using a simple free iPad programme called ‘Stop Motion’ which can be downloaded from the App Store for your phone or tablet.
