Thank you to all the children, parent/carers and staff who entered this year’s photo competition. This year’s categories were patterns, colour and light and celebration. We had some amazing entries.
This year’s photography competition was judged by Dr Shawn Sobers. Shawn is a senior lecturer in photography and media and a filmmaker, writer, photographer and facilitator of community media and arts at the University of the West of England. He was the perfect choice to judge this year as he is extremely interested in the power of using media such as photography and film making within community settings. His PhD explored the motivations, impacts and cultural sustainability of stakeholders’ involvement in community media education.
