We are delighted to announce that our school meal caterers, Eden Foodservice, have been awarded the Silver Food for Life Catering Mark. Eden are the first school meal caterer to set this mark as a minimum standard across all primary schools.
Eden understands that parent/carers are more concerned than ever about where their child’s food comes from. The Catering Mark rewards menus prepared from scratch, using fresh ingredients containing no unwanted additives and trans fats, that promote healthy choices. It also provides reassurance to parent/carers that meat is from traceable sources farmed to UK welfare standards, eggs are from cage free hens and fish is from non-endangered stocks.
