Due to the recent concern regarding measles, Public Health England published a leaflet which explains about measles, mumps and rubella and the MMR vaccination which will prevent these diseases.  The leaflet can be downloaded here.

30 hours entitlement

The School offers 30 hours per week for 38 weeks per year free education and care to families who meet the government guidelines.  Please download the St Philip’s 30 hours brochure for further information.  The Nursery School will also be able to offer additional hours to families who may not meet these criteria.  We will be happy to discuss individual circumstances with you on application.

Online Childcare Calculator –  parents can work out how much they can claim and sign up to an alert email from HMRC when the online checking service for 30 Hours and Tax Free Childcare goes live.

INSET Days

The next INSET days are:

Monday 6 January

All schools are legally obliged to hold 5 INSET days per school year for staff training.  Recent staff training has included safeguarding and child protection, positive handling, paediatric first aid and how adult child interaction supports learning.


 

Absence

Please inform the School if your child is going to be absent.
