Welcome to St Philip’s Marsh Nursery School
We are a lively, flourishing Local Authority Nursery School in Bristol, serving children from 2 to 5 years old and their families. Our school has become the heart of our community, welcoming families who travel from many areas across Bristol to join us. What makes us special is our deeply inclusive ethos – we celebrate the diverse cultures, languages and life experiences that every family brings, creating a vibrant community where everyone belongs.
Our experienced team includes a Headteacher, Deputy Head, qualified teachers, Early Years Practitioners and support staff who are passionate about early years education. Each child is supported by a dedicated key person who gets to know them and their family well. We place children firmly at the heart of everything we do, using their interests to guide our activities and helping them develop language, social skills, self-confidence and independence. Through our broad, balanced curriculum, creative indoor spaces and wonderful outdoor garden, we give children the security and freedom they need to explore, learn and thrive. Whether your child needs support through visuals, Makaton, or early intervention groups, our skilled team ensures every child makes progress from their own starting point, building a strong foundation for their future learning journey.
