Recently we celebrated Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. We made and decorated clay divas, painted firework pictures, watched information videos and explored artefacts and clothes. We also created Rangoli patterns using food, chalk and pens, decorated biscuits with icing, looked at books, read the story of Rama and Sita and had parties where we listened to Indian music and tasted traditional food.
