There was great excitement as two Police Officers and their horses (‘Redland’ and ‘Thomas’) from the Mounted Police Section visited us this week. The children were able to stroke the horses and feed them apples. The children asked lots of questions and we found out that Police Officers use the horses so that they can see everything and that all horses used by the Police are male.
