The nursery currently has three exciting opportunities available for people who are passionate about working with young children in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Play Worker – Breakfast Club The children at St Philip’s Marsh Nursery School are looking for a confident childcare professional to help deliver high-quality care at the start of the school day. This role involves planning engaging activities and working as part of a team to provide a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Play Worker – Afterschool Club There is also an opportunity to work at the end of the school day, supporting children in the afterschool club. This role involves planning engaging activities and delivering high-quality care in a fun and nurturing environment. School Meals Supervisory Assistant The nursery is seeking someone from the community to join the SMSA team, looking after children aged 2-5 at lunchtime. This role involves serving lunch and providing high quality, safe supervision, talking with the children and supporting them in their play. The position is for 8.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 11.30am-1.15pm during term time. No qualifications are required as training will be provided. Click here to learn more and apply.
All three positions are fixed term until 31 August 2026 and offer living wage rates, training opportunities, and the chance to work with a friendly and supportive staff team.
