Please find below the link to object to the proposal of 48 low carbon, bio diesel powered generators within 200 metres of the Nursery School. We have previously submitted objections and the planning application was withdrawn. By re-submitting they have negated all previous objections and so we have to re-submit. Our objections remain the same:
· The generators will be less than 200 metres from the school play area.
· The proposal in not in keeping with Bristol Core Strategy (BS23) because the development will adversely impact St Philip’s Marsh Nursery School by reason of noise and air pollution.
· The planning application takes no account of the Nursery School and does not propose any mitigations to the detriment that the site will cause to the health, safety and wellbeing of the children at the school.
· The applicants Noise Impact Assessment ignores the close proximity of the Nursery School, which is a noise sensitive location (as defined by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health).
· The proposed installation is located within the Bristol Air Quality Management Area, which will result in increased levels of harmful emissions within an area of known poor air quality that already exceeds government limits.
Please could you take the time to click on the link and register your objections in support of the Nursery School and share the link with any other individuals who are prepared to object. You do not need to log in or register just click submit.
We need to ensure that there are over 100 objections – currently there are 28.
