The Local Authority is recommending that our school crossing patrol is removed and they are not recommending an ‘engineered crossing’, i.e. a zebra crossing or light-controlled pedestrian crossing. A public consultation began on 13 June and ends on 5 September. All are urged to have their say about this and cuts to other services on the website www.bristol.gov.uk/council-spending-performance/your-neighbourhood-consultation-2017.
