It has been a very busy couple of weeks celebrating the Christian celebration of Christmas.
We have used lots of sparkly items and glitter to adorn Christmas tree decorations (you can never have enough sparkle), decorated the Christmas trees with tinsel and baubles, made cards, wrapped boxes, created festive collages, explored glittery playdough, read Christmas stories and sung under favourite Christmas songs (Jingle Bells is always a favourite!).
We have also had a festive roast dinner, held two parties (with food, games and dancing) and hosted two Stay & Play sessions where parents/carers came in to join us in our festivities.
We also had a flying visit from Father Christmas who landed on our school roof. He couldn’t stay long as it’s a busy time of year for him. Wow, what busy couple of weeks!
