Christmas 2021

This week we have been celebrating the Christian festival of Christmas.

We have opened our advent box daily, made ‘snow’, used lots of glitter and tinsel to adorn Christmas tree decorations (you can never have enough glitter), baked and decorated Christmas biscuits (yum!), decorated the Christmas trees, written cards and posted them in the post box, wrapped boxes and written tags, created snowmen collages, made crowns to wear at the Christmas dinner, read stories, retold the story of Christmas using props, held two parties (with food, games and dancing – we even made our own sandwiches) and sang at two sing-alongs.  There was even a flying visit from Father Christmas who landed on our roof (following all health and safety rules to keep him safe of course).  What a busy week!

The children, staff and governors of St Philip’s Marsh Nursery School wish our school community a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.

We return to school on Wednesday 5 January 2022.
