The last few days at nursery have had an autumnal and Halloween focus. The sensory trays have included green noodles with ice hands, rice krispies with spiders, jelly with creepy crawlies, coloured tapioca pearls and lychees, pipettes with ‘potions’. Our playdough this week was black with Halloween cutters. We used a pumpkin we had grown in our garden to make pumpkin and vegetable soup (delicious!), made biscuits using Halloween cutters and individual pizzas featuring Egyptian ‘mummy’ faces. The week ended with a Halloween party.
